Gabriel is the Archangel portrayed by Any Whitfield in the movie Gabriel. He was the seventh of seven archangels, including Remiel, Amitiel, Ithuriel, Uriel, Raphael, and Michael, who willingly descended into Purgatory (a neutral realm between heaven and hell more commonly known as Earth) to break the hold of the Fallen & bring Light back to that realm.
